Philanthropic Research Program

The Philanthropic Research Team provides our most generous donors with information and resources to answer their questions, support the grant recommendation process and empower them to be strategic in their giving. We serve a range of donors in the Private Donor Group, including those who are just starting to explore a charitable cause area for the first time to donors who are ready to recommend a grant and have very specific questions about an organization.

Based on donors’ needs, we develop:

Customized briefs or curated resources about specific charitable causes.

Information on specific organizations.

Lists of nonprofits addressing specific issues, perhaps in certain regions or to serve specific populations, based on donor preference.

We can also provide quick answers to donors' questions, or introduce donors to nonprofit experts working in the field.
