Before joining Fidelity Charitable in 2019, Tobi was a senior philanthropy advisor at Silicon Valley Community Foundation, where she was responsible for guiding the philanthropic vision and the implementation of grantmaking programs for donors, sector-related education events, and community engagement initiatives. She has worked in higher education, implemented aesthetic education programs for Title 1 schools, managed a professional dance company, and was a film researcher for the Amnesty International Film Festival.

Colby Bircher is a vice president of Philanthropic Strategies for Fidelity Charitable. In her role as a Philanthropic Strategist, Colby is responsible for working with Fidelity Charitable’s most generous donors and families, providing guidance, insight, and solutions to meet their philanthropic goals.
Previously, Colby was a vice president and charitable planning consultant for both the Northwest and New England regions, providing philanthropic planning strategies and education to financial advisors, attorneys, accountants, and their clients. Before that, she was a charitable planning associate and client service representative specializing in the grantmaking process. Prior to joining Fidelity Charitable in 2012, Colby worked for the North Shore Teen Initiative, where she supported and developed multiple programs, initiatives, and events.
Elizabeth Bouchard is a director of Philanthropic Strategies for Fidelity Charitable.
Elizabeth joined Fidelity Charitable in 2022 as a member of the Private Donor Group team. In this role, she supports Fidelity Charitable donors in activating their philanthropy for social change. She is based in Boston and primarily works with New England-based donors.
Before joining Fidelity Charitable, Elizabeth spent eight years at the Fidelity Foundation, most recently as a senior program officer. In this role, she co-led the foundation’s regional program, as well as cultivated and stewarded capacity-building grants across multiple sectors in eastern U.S. regions. She previously worked in the arts and culture sector at New England Foundation for the Arts and the American Repertory Theater.
Elizabeth has an MBA and master of science degree in arts administration from Boston University. She has a BA in theatre arts from Boston College. She also holds a certificate in fundraising management.
Tifany R. Boyles joined Fidelity Charitable in 2024 as a member of the Private Donor Group. As a Philanthropic Strategist, Tifany partners with donors to help identify and align their values with their giving and to design effective giving practices that elevate social impact and create sustainable change.
She has a passion for strengthening the social sector through building thoughtful giving strategies, purposeful partnerships, and environments for learning and engagement. She believes that giving can be transformational for the donor, the beneficiary, and the community when done with purpose and care.
Prior to joining Fidelity Charitable, Tifany owned a philanthropic consulting firm called Red Philanthropy where she and her team focused on both domestic and international giving on behalf of high-net-worth clients. Previously, she was a vice president with CCS, the largest consulting firm in the world serving nonprofit clients. She has served in advising or grantmaking for the majority of her 20-year career.
Tifany has a master’s degree in philanthropic studies from the Indiana University Lilly Family School of Philanthropy and a bachelor’s degree in political science and fine art from Pepperdine University. She has her certification in International Women’s Health and Human Rights from the Stanford University Center for Social Innovation as well as her Women in Leadership certification from the Yale School of Management.

Elaine has over 25 years of experience in the nonprofit sector, with various leadership positions centered on collaborative partnerships, fundraising, and organizational development. Prior to joining Fidelity Charitable, Elaine worked at Seattle Foundation, one of the nation’s largest community foundations. She was the director of Philanthropic Services, serving as the expert in family and next-gen philanthropy. She developed frameworks for collaborative funding and learning as well as family and youth philanthropy. Currently, she is a board member for Green River College, a public community college focused on global workforce development and civic engagement.
Elaine double majored and received BA degrees in business administration and political science as well as her master’s of public administration at the University of Washington. She is also a certified trainer through 21/64, an organization that specializes in multigenerational advising and engagement, especially within family philanthropy and other family enterprises. She is a Charter Advisor in Philanthropy (CAP) from The American College of Financial Services.
Vikki Crouse is a senior manager of Philanthropic Research for the Private Donor Group at Fidelity Charitable.
Vikki joined Fidelity Charitable in 2022. As part of the Private Donor Group team, Vikki conducts research and creates resources to inform decision-making by Fidelity Charitable donors seeking to provide transformational support for nonprofits.
Vikki has a decade of experience working in the nonprofit sector. Prior to coming to Fidelity Charitable, she worked at NC Child as a research program director. In this role, she provided policy advocates and decision-makers with reliable data and research to better understand child and family well-being. Before that, she was a public policy analyst with the Michigan League for Public Policy, where she researched family economic security, state taxes, and immigration policy. Outside of the office, Vikki volunteers as a board member with the North Carolina Conservation Network, an organization that aims to protect the environment and promote solutions for a safer, healthier state.

Karen Heald is a vice president of Philanthropic Strategies at Fidelity Charitable. She helps donors engage more deeply in their philanthropic journeys and works with them to create long-term plans to achieve their charitable objectives.
Before joining Fidelity Charitable in 2007, Karen was a senior development officer for Pine Street Inn in Boston. In this role, she was responsible for supporting all areas of the charity’s fundraising efforts. Before that, Karen was a development officer with the world-renowned Dana-Farber Cancer Institute in Boston.

Prior to joining Fidelity Charitable, May was the director of school success at the XQ Institute, a national organization co-founded by Laurene Powell Jobs, dedicated to rethinking the American high school experience. While at the XQ Institute, May managed a $120 million portfolio of investments in innovative high schools. She developed and activated a grants management strategy; created a learning infrastructure for grantees to share best practices; and curated success stories and learnings for board members, national stakeholders, influencers, and the American public.
Prior to that, May spent a decade supporting students, families, and educators. She started her career as the operations manager on the founding team of a charter school in Brooklyn, New York. Following her experience managing a school, she led a national program that supported the training, development, and growth of over 500 school leaders across 10 cities. Before completing her MBA at the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University, May was part of a tech startup focused on developing a mobile learning platform for students in emerging economies.
May holds an MBA from the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University and a bachelor of arts in education studies from Brown University.

While at Arabella, she designed and executed grantmaking programs for a diverse range of clients and launched several learning communities and collaboratives for donors to share challenges, align strategies, and make co-investments.
Before her time at Arabella, Allison spent a decade managing and supporting complex global projects across Africa, Asia, and the Middle East as a senior advisor for governance and partnerships at Mercy Corps. She began her career at the Institute for Inclusive Security, a program of Hunt Alternatives Fund, and worked to promote women’s participation in international policymaking.

This research guides donors in making transformational grants that support high-impact nonprofits addressing critical needs.
Sarah has more than 20 years of experience working in the nonprofit sector and in philanthropy. Prior to coming to Fidelity Charitable, she worked at Duke University’s Office of Development in a range of roles, including program director of Interdisciplinary Initiatives.
Before Duke, she was the director of member relations at the North Carolina Center for Nonprofits, a statewide association for nonprofits. She began her career at a small public radio station in Asheville, North Carolina, managing programs serving the station’s volunteers, donors, and listeners.

Allison Shean is a director of Philanthropic Strategies for the Private Donor Group at Fidelity Charitable.
She joined the Private Donor Group in 2021. As a Philanthropic Strategist, she advises Fidelity Charitable’s most generous donors on how they can use their charitable resources to meaningfully advance the causes they care about. She has been both a grantmaker and a grant seeker, giving her unique insight into the opportunities and challenges that exist in the philanthropic sector.
Prior to joining Fidelity Charitable, Allison was a director at Arabella Advisors, where she provided philanthropic consulting services to families, foundations, and corporate clients. While at Arabella, she designed and executed grantmaking programs for a diverse range of clients and launched several learning communities and collaboratives for donors to share challenges, align strategies, and make co-investments.
Before her time at Arabella, Allison spent a decade managing and supporting complex global projects across Africa, Asia, and the Middle East as a senior advisor for governance and partnerships at Mercy Corps. She began her career at the Institute for Inclusive Security, a program of Hunt Alternatives Fund, and worked to promote women’s participation in international policymaking.
Allison holds a master’s degree in public policy from the Harvard Kennedy School of Government and a bachelor of arts degree in public policy and law from Trinity College.
Sarah Weissberg is a director of Philanthropic Research for the Private Donor Group at Fidelity Charitable.
She joined Fidelity Charitable in 2018. She leads the Philanthropic Research team, which conducts research and creates custom resources for donors in Fidelity Charitable’s Private Donor Group. This research guides donors in making transformational grants that support high-impact nonprofits addressing critical needs.
Sarah has more than 20 years of experience working in the nonprofit sector and in philanthropy. Prior to coming to Fidelity Charitable, she worked at Duke University’s Office of Development in a range of roles, including program director of Interdisciplinary Initiatives.
Before Duke, she was the director of member relations at the North Carolina Center for Nonprofits, a statewide association for nonprofits. She began her career at a small public radio station in Asheville, North Carolina, managing programs serving the station’s volunteers, donors, and listeners.
Sarah received a bachelor of arts degree from Guilford College and a master of arts degree from North Carolina State University, both in English. She holds a certificate in nonprofit management from Duke University.

Tobi Becerra is a vice president of Philanthropic Strategies for Fidelity Charitable. In her role as a Philanthropic Strategist, Tobi helped ideate and launch Fidelity Charitable Perspectives, a program designed exclusively to support the country’s most generous philanthropists. She is responsible for the ongoing execution of Perspectives, providing donors, advisors, and family offices with guidance, insight, and solutions to meet their philanthropic goals. With 20 years in the nonprofit sector, her array of experiences helps inform donors about how they can maximize their charitable giving and how the philanthropic sector can spur greater social change.
Before joining Fidelity Charitable in 2019, Tobi was a senior philanthropy advisor at Silicon Valley Community Foundation, where she was responsible for guiding the philanthropic vision and the implementation of grantmaking programs for donors, sector-related education events, and community engagement initiatives. She has worked in higher education, implemented aesthetic education programs for Title 1 schools, managed a professional dance company, and was a film researcher for the Amnesty International Film Festival.
Tobi received a bachelor of fine arts degree from Chapman University and a master’s degree in nonprofit administration from Louisiana State University. She holds a certificate in nonprofit management from SUNY Purchase College.
Colby Bircher is a vice president of Philanthropic Strategies for Fidelity Charitable. In her role as a Philanthropic Strategist, Colby is responsible for working with Fidelity Charitable’s most generous donors and families, providing guidance, insight, and solutions to meet their philanthropic goals.
Previously, Colby was a vice president and charitable planning consultant for both the Northwest and New England regions, providing philanthropic planning strategies and education to financial advisors, attorneys, accountants, and their clients. Before that, she was a charitable planning associate and client service representative specializing in the grantmaking process. Prior to joining Fidelity Charitable in 2012, Colby worked for the North Shore Teen Initiative, where she supported and developed multiple programs, initiatives, and events.

Elizabeth joined Fidelity Charitable in 2022 as a member of the Private Donor Group team. In this role, she supports Fidelity Charitable donors in activating their philanthropy for social change. She is based in Boston and primarily works with New England-based donors.
Before joining Fidelity Charitable, Elizabeth spent eight years at the Fidelity Foundation, most recently as a senior program officer. In this role, she co-led the foundation’s regional program, as well as cultivated and stewarded capacity-building grants across multiple sectors in eastern U.S. regions. She previously worked in the arts and culture sector at New England Foundation for the Arts and the American Repertory Theater.

She has a passion for strengthening the social sector through building thoughtful giving strategies, purposeful partnerships, and environments for learning and engagement. She believes that giving can be transformational for the donor, the beneficiary, and the community when done with purpose and care.
Prior to joining Fidelity Charitable, Tifany owned a philanthropic consulting firm called Red Philanthropy where she and her team focused on both domestic and international giving on behalf of high-net-worth clients. Previously, she was a vice president with CCS, the largest consulting firm in the world serving nonprofit clients. She has served in advising or grantmaking for the majority of her 20-year career.
Tifany has a master’s degree in philanthropic studies from the Indiana University Lilly Family School of Philanthropy and a bachelor’s degree in political science and fine art from Pepperdine University. Elaine has over 25 years of experience in the nonprofit sector, with various leadership positions centered on collaborative partnerships, fundraising, and organizational development. Prior to joining Fidelity Charitable, Elaine worked at Seattle Foundation, one of the nation’s largest community foundations. She was the director of Philanthropic Services, serving as the expert in family and next-gen philanthropy. She developed frameworks for collaborative funding and learning as well as family and youth philanthropy. Currently, she is a board member for Green River College, a public community college focused on global workforce development and civic engagement.

She is also a certified trainer through 21/64, an organization that specializes in multigenerational advising and engagement, especially within family philanthropy and other family enterprises. Vikki joined Fidelity Charitable in 2022. As part of the Private Donor Group team, Vikki conducts research and creates resources to inform decision-making by Fidelity Charitable donors seeking to provide transformational support for nonprofits.
Vikki has a decade of experience working in the nonprofit sector. Prior to coming to Fidelity Charitable, she worked at NC Child as a research program director. In this role, she provided policy advocates and decision-makers with reliable data and research to better understand child and family well-being. Before that, she was a public policy analyst with the Michigan League for Public Policy, where she researched family economic security, state taxes, and immigration policy. Outside of the office, Vikki volunteers as a board member with the North Carolina Conservation Network, an organization that aims to protect the environment and promote solutions for a safer, healthier state.

Before joining Fidelity Charitable in 2007, Karen was a senior development officer for Pine Street Inn in Boston. In this role, she was responsible for supporting all areas of the charity’s fundraising efforts. Before that, Karen was a development officer with the world-renowned Dana-Farber Cancer Institute in Boston.
Karen received a bachelor of science degree from Providence College and holds the Chartered Advisor in Philanthropy (CAP) designation.

Her professional interests stem from her personal experience as a first-generation college student who benefited from opportunities funded by the generosity of invested individuals.
Prior to joining Fidelity Charitable, May was the director of school success at the XQ Institute, a national organization co-founded by Laurene Powell Jobs, dedicated to rethinking the American high school experience. While at the XQ Institute, May managed a $120 million portfolio of investments in innovative high schools. She developed and activated a grants management strategy; created a learning infrastructure for grantees to share best practices; and curated success stories and learnings for board members, national stakeholders, influencers, and the American public.
Prior to that, May spent a decade supporting students, families, and educators. She started her career as the operations manager on the founding team of a charter school in Brooklyn, New York. Following her experience managing a school, she led a national program that supported the training, development, and growth of over 500 school leaders across 10 cities. Before completing her MBA at the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University, May was part of a tech startup focused on developing a mobile learning platform for students in emerging economies.
May holds an MBA from the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University and a bachelor of arts in education studies from Brown University.

Prior to joining Fidelity Charitable, Elaine was vice president of development at Global Fund for Women, where she influenced the strategic mission and raised $60 million to support women-led human rights organizations in 175 countries. She leverages her experiences at the Global Fund for Women, Refugees International, King’s College London, the British Medical Association, and Dana-Farber Cancer Institute/Harvard Medical School to develop strategies that help ultra-high-net-worth donors achieve their philanthropic goals.
Elaine currently serves on several boards, including Partners in Health, Prosperity Catalyst, and NC Women United.
She double majored in medical studies and English literature and communications at Gannon University. She received a master’s degree in Victorian literature from the University of Leeds.

She has served in her current role since 2022. Linda provides expert advice and strategic support to Fidelity Charitable donors, helping them maximize their philanthropic impact and create positive change in the world.
Prior to joining Fidelity Charitable, Linda spent her career leading strategic initiatives and successful grantmaking programs in the nonprofit and philanthropic sectors. She served as a program officer at private foundations—Sunlight Giving and the David and Lucile Packard Foundation—and at a philanthropic consulting firm, Pacific Foundation Services. Within each of these roles, she led program strategy to ensure healthy and vibrant communities, focusing on areas such as food security, healthcare access, and early childhood education.
Outside of the office, Linda volunteers with the Make-A-Wish Foundation and First Descents, an organization that provides life-changing outdoor experiences for young people impacted by cancer and other serious health conditions.

Before her time at Arabella, Allison spent a decade managing and supporting complex global projects across Africa, Asia, and the Middle East as a senior advisor for governance and partnerships at Mercy Corps. While at the XQ Institute, May managed a $120 million portfolio of investments in innovative high schools. She developed and activated a grants management strategy; created a learning infrastructure for grantees to share best practices; and curated success stories and learnings for board members, national stakeholders, influencers, and the American public.
Prior to that, May spent a decade supporting students, families, and educators. She started her career as the operations manager on the founding team of a charter school in Brooklyn, New York. Following her experience managing a school, she led a national program that supported the training, development, and growth of over 500 school leaders across 10 cities. Before completing her MBA at the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University, May was part of a tech startup focused on developing a mobile learning platform for students in emerging economies.

While at Arabella, she designed and executed grantmaking programs for a diverse range of clients and launched several learning communities and collaboratives for donors to share challenges, align strategies, and make co-investments.
Before her time at Arabella, Allison spent a decade managing and supporting complex global projects across Africa, Asia, and the Middle East as a senior advisor for governance and partnerships at Mercy Corps. She began her career at the Institute for Inclusive Security, a program of Hunt Alternatives Fund, and worked to promote women’s participation in international policymaking.

Before that, she was a charitable planning associate and client service representative specializing in the grantmaking process. Prior to joining Fidelity Charitable in 2012, Colby worked for the North Shore Teen Initiative, where she supported and developed multiple programs, initiatives, and events.

Prior to joining Fidelity Charitable, Tifany owned a philanthropic consulting firm called Red Philanthropy where she and her team focused on both domestic and international giving on behalf of high-net-worth clients. Previously, she was a vice president with CCS, the largest consulting firm in the world serving nonprofit clients. She has served in advising or grantmaking for the majority of her 20-year career.

Vikki has a decade of experience working in the nonprofit sector. Prior to coming to Fidelity Charitable, she worked at NC Child as a research program director. In this role, she provided policy advocates and decision-makers with reliable data and research to better understand child and family well-being. Before that, she was a public policy analyst with the Michigan League for Public Policy, where she researched family economic security, state taxes, and immigration policy. Outside of the office, Vikki volunteers as a board member with the North Carolina Conservation Network, an organization that aims to protect the environment and promote solutions for a safer, healthier state.

While at the XQ Institute, May managed a $120 million portfolio of investments in innovative high schools. She developed and activated a grants management strategy; created a learning infrastructure for grantees to share best practices; and curated success stories and learnings for board members, national stakeholders, influencers, and the American public.
Prior to that, May spent a decade supporting students, families, and educators. She started her career as the operations manager on the founding team of a charter school in Brooklyn, New York. Following her experience managing a school, she led a national program that supported the training, development, and growth of over 500 school leaders across 10 cities. Prior to that, May spent a decade supporting students, families, and educators. She started her career as the operations manager on the founding team of a charter school in Brooklyn, New York. Following her experience managing a school, she led a national program that supported the training, development, and growth of over 500 school leaders across 10 cities. Before completing her MBA at the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University, May was part of a tech startup focused on developing a mobile learning platform for students in emerging economies.

Currently, she is a board member for Green River College, a public community college focused on global workforce development and civic engagement.

Vikki Crouse is a senior manager of Philanthropic Research for the Private Donor Group at Fidelity Charitable.
Vikki joined Fidelity Charitable in 2022. As part of the Private Donor Group team, Vikki conducts research and creates resources to inform decision-making by Fidelity Charitable donors seeking to provide transformational support for nonprofits.
Vikki has a decade of experience working in the nonprofit sector. Prior to coming to Fidelity Charitable, she worked at NC Child as a research program director. In this role, she provided policy advocates and decision-makers with reliable data and research to better understand child and family well-being. Before that, she was a public policy analyst with the Michigan League for Public Policy, where she researched family economic security, state taxes, and immigration policy. Outside of the office, Vikki volunteers as a board member with the North Carolina Conservation Network, an organization that aims to protect the environment and promote solutions for a safer, healthier state.
Vikki received her bachelor of arts degree in sociology and political science, as well as her master of social work degree, from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
Karen Heald is a vice president of Philanthropic Strategies at Fidelity Charitable. She helps donors engage more deeply in their philanthropic journeys and works with them to create long-term plans to achieve their charitable objectives.
Before joining Fidelity Charitable in 2007, Karen was a senior development officer for Pine Street Inn in Boston. In this role, she was responsible for supporting all areas of the charity’s fundraising efforts. Before that, Karen was a development officer with the world-renowned Dana-Farber Cancer Institute in Boston.
Karen received a bachelor of science degree from Providence College and holds the Chartered Advisor in Philanthropy (CAP) designation.

She joined the Private Donor Group in 2021. In this role, she advises Fidelity Charitable’s most generous donors in meeting their philanthropic goals in pursuit of social change. Her professional interests stem from her personal experience as a first-generation college student who benefited from opportunities funded by the generosity of invested individuals.
Prior to joining Fidelity Charitable, May was the director of school success at the XQ Institute, a national organization co-founded by Laurene Powell Jobs, dedicated to rethinking the American high school experience. While at the XQ Institute, May managed a $120 million portfolio of investments in innovative high schools. She developed and activated a grants management strategy; created a learning infrastructure for grantees to share best practices; and curated success stories and learnings for board members, national stakeholders, influencers, and the American public.
Prior to that, May spent a decade supporting students, families, and educators. She started her career as the operations manager on the founding team of a charter school in Brooklyn, New York. Following her experience managing a school, she led a national program that supported the training, development, and growth of over 500 school leaders across 10 cities. Before completing her MBA at the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University, May was part of a tech startup focused on developing a mobile learning platform for students in emerging economies.
May holds an MBA from the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University and a bachelor of arts in education studies from Brown University.

Before her time at Arabella, Allison spent a decade managing and supporting complex global projects across Africa, Asia, and the Middle East as a senior advisor for governance and partnerships at Mercy Corps. She began her career at the Institute for Inclusive Security, a program of Hunt Alternatives Fund, and worked to promote women’s participation in international policymaking.

She joined Fidelity Charitable in 2018. She leads the Philanthropic Research team, which conducts research and creates custom resources for donors in Fidelity Charitable’s Private Donor Group. This research guides donors in making transformational grants that support high-impact nonprofits addressing critical needs.
Sarah has more than 20 years of experience working in the nonprofit sector and in philanthropy. Prior to coming to Fidelity Charitable, she worked at Duke University’s Office of Development in a range of roles, including program director of Interdisciplinary Initiatives.
Before Duke, she was the director of member relations at the North Carolina Center for Nonprofits, a statewide association for nonprofits. She began her career at a small public radio station in Asheville, North Carolina, managing programs serving the station’s volunteers, donors, and listeners.

She has worked in higher education, implemented aesthetic education programs for Title 1 schools, managed a professional dance company, and was a film researcher for the Amnesty International Film Festival.

Previously, Colby was a vice president and charitable planning consultant for both the Northwest and New England regions, providing philanthropic planning strategies and education to financial advisors, attorneys, accountants, and their clients. Before that, she was a charitable planning associate and client service representative specializing in the grantmaking process. Prior to joining Fidelity Charitable in 2012, Colby worked for the North Shore Teen Initiative, where she supported and developed multiple programs, initiatives, and events.

Elizabeth joined Fidelity Charitable in 2022 as a member of the Private Donor Group team. In this role, she supports Fidelity Charitable donors in activating their philanthropy for social change. She is based in Boston and primarily works with New England-based donors.
Before joining Fidelity Charitable, Elizabeth spent eight years at the Fidelity Foundation, most recently as a senior program officer. In this role, she co-led the foundation’s regional program, as well as cultivated and stewarded capacity-building grants across multiple sectors in eastern U.S. regions. She previously worked in the arts and culture sector at New England Foundation for the Arts and the American Repertory Theater.

Tifany R. Boyles joined Fidelity Charitable in 2024 as a member of the Private Donor Group. As a Philanthropic Strategist, Tifany partners with donors to help identify and align their values with their giving and to design effective giving practices that elevate social impact and create sustainable change.
She has a passion for strengthening the social sector through building thoughtful giving strategies, purposeful partnerships, and environments for learning and engagement. Prior to joining Fidelity Charitable, Tifany owned a philanthropic consulting firm called Red Philanthropy where she and her team focused on both domestic and international giving on behalf of high-net-worth clients. Previously, she was a vice president with CCS, the largest consulting firm in the world serving nonprofit clients. She has served in advising or grantmaking for the majority of her 20-year career.
