With 20 years in the nonprofit sector, her array of experiences helps inform donors about how they can maximize their charitable giving and how the philanthropic sector can spur greater social change.
Before joining Fidelity Charitable, Tobi was a senior philanthropy advisor at Silicon Valley Community Foundation, where she was responsible for guiding the philanthropic vision and the implementation of grantmaking programs for donors, sector-related education events, donor engagement initiatives, and community partnerships. Before that, she was a principal gifts academic liaison at Santa Clara University and an advancement operations manager at Chapman University, implemented aesthetic education programs for Title 1 schools, managed a professional dance company, and was a film researcher for the Amnesty International Film Festival.
Tobi received a bachelor of fine arts degree from Chapman University and a master’s degree in nonprofit administration from Louisiana State University. She holds a certificate in nonprofit management from SUNY Purchase College.
Elizabeth Bouchard joined Fidelity Charitable in 2022 as a member of the Private Donor Group team. In this role, she supports Fidelity Charitable donors in activating their philanthropy for social change. She is based in Boston and primarily works with New England-based donors.
Before joining Fidelity Charitable, Elizabeth spent eight years at the Fidelity Foundation, most recently as a senior program officer. In this role, she co-led the Foundation’s regional program as well as cultivated and stewarded capacity-building grants across multiple sectors in eastern U.S. regions. She previously worked in the arts and culture sector at New England Foundation for the Arts (NEFA) and American Repertory Theater.

Tifany R. Boyles joined Fidelity Charitable in 2024 as a member of the Private Donor Group. As a Philanthropic Strategist, Tifany partners with donors to help identify and align their values with their giving and to design effective giving practices that elevate social impact and create sustainable change.
She has a passion for strengthening the social sector through building thoughtful giving strategies, purposeful partnerships, and environments for learning and engagement. She believes that giving can be transformational for the donor, the beneficiary, and the community when done with purpose and care.
Prior to joining Fidelity Charitable, Tifany owned a philanthropic consulting firm called Red Philanthropy where she and her team focused on both domestic and international giving on behalf of high-net-worth clients. Previously, she was a vice president with CCS, the largest consulting firm in the world serving nonprofit clients. She has served in advising or grantmaking for the majority of her 20-year career.
Tifany has a master’s degree in philanthropic studies from the Indiana University Lilly Family School of Philanthropy and a bachelor’s degree in political science and fine art from Pepperdine University. She has her certification in International Women’s Health and Human Rights from the Stanford University Center for Social Innovation as well as her Women in Leadership certification from the Yale School of Management.

She has more than 25 years of experience working in the nonprofit sector with a focus on fundraising, organizational development, and collaborative partnerships. Prior to Fidelity Charitable, Elaine was Director of Philanthropic Services at Seattle Foundation, where she oversaw a team of philanthropic advisors and was a thought leader in building programs and services focused on family philanthropy, next-gen engagement, collaborative funding/learning, and youth philanthropy.
Elaine double majored and received Bachelor of Arts degrees in Business Administration and Political Science, as well as her Master’s in Public Administration, at the University of Washington. She is also a certified trainer through 21/64, an organization that specializes in multigenerational advising and engagement, especially within family philanthropy and other family enterprises. Vikki Crouse joined Fidelity Charitable in 2022. As part of the Private Donor Group team, Vikki conducts research and creates resources to inform decision-making by Fidelity Charitable donors seeking to provide transformational support for nonprofits.
Vikki has a decade of experience working in the nonprofit sector. Prior to coming to Fidelity Charitable, she worked at NC Child as research program director. In this role, she provided policy advocates and decision-makers with reliable data and research to better understand child and family well-being.
Before NC Child, she was a public policy analyst at the Michigan League for Public Policy, a statewide policy research and advocacy organization. Vikki received a Bachelor of Arts in sociology and political science from UNC-Chapel Hill and a Master of Social Work degree also from UNC-Chapel Hill.
Karen Heald is Vice President, Philanthropic Strategies, for the Private Donor Group at Fidelity Charitable. Karen helps donors engage more deeply in their philanthropic journeys and works with them to create long-term plans to achieve their charitable objectives.
Karen received a bachelor of science degree from Providence College and holds the Chartered Advisor of Philanthropy designation.
Before joining Fidelity Charitable in 2007, Karen was a senior development officer for Pine Street Inn in Boston, MA. In this role, she was responsible for supporting all areas of the charity’s fundraising efforts. Susan Laidlaw joined Fidelity Charitable in 2015. Prior to joining Fidelity Charitable, Susan was an Associate Director of Major Gifts at the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University, where she identified, cultivated, and solicited major gifts from Fuqua alumni in New England and California. She also served as the development liaison with Fuqua's Center for the Advancement of Social Entrepreneurship, the Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation, and the Fuqua/Coach K Center for Leadership and Ethics.

Before that, May was on the founding team of a tech startup focused on online learning.
May holds a Master of Business Administration from the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University and a Bachelor of Arts in education studies from Brown University.
Elaine Martyn’s career has centered on building programs around family philanthropy, mentorship and leadership, impact investing, international grant-making, and values-based giving. She has worked with major donors to support the advancement of health and human rights through medical education, social justice, diversity policy, and advocacy in the United States, United Kingdom, and Asia through her work at the Global Fund for Women, Refugees International, King’s College London, the British Medical Association, Dana-Farber Cancer Institute/Harvard Medical School, and as a Special Advisor on Philanthropy to the U.S. State Department.
Ms. Martyn double majored in medical studies and English literature and communications at Gannon University. She received a master’s degree in Victorian literature from the University of Leeds.
Rebecca joined the Private Donor Group in 2020. As a Philanthropic Strategist, she uses her knowledge of international and domestic grantmaking to help donors make philanthropy as powerful a force as possible for social change. Rebecca is passionate about global grassroots civil society and advocating for its influence in decision-making processes.

Linda Shak joined Fidelity Charitable in 2022. She is passionate about working with donors to develop their philanthropic strategy and activate their vision for social change.
Prior to joining Fidelity Charitable, Linda spent her career leading strategic initiatives and successful grantmaking programs in the nonprofit and philanthropic sectors. She served as a program officer at private foundations—Sunlight Giving and the David and Lucile Packard Foundation—and a philanthropic consulting firm, Pacific Foundation Services.
Within each of these roles, she led program strategy to ensure healthy and vibrant communities, focusing on areas such as food security, community organizing, healthcare access, and early childhood education.
Outside of the office, Linda volunteers with the Make-A-Wish Foundation and First Descents, an organization that provides life-changing outdoor experiences for young people impacted by cancer and other serious health conditions.

Allison has been both a grant maker and a grant seeker, giving her insight into the opportunities and challenges in the philanthropic sector. Before joining Fidelity Charitable, Allison was a director at Arabella Advisors, where she advised a diverse set of clients on how to amplify their charitable impact. She also spent a decade managing and supporting global projects across Africa, Asia and the Middle East. She served as a senior advisor for governance and partnerships at Mercy Corps and worked to increase women’s participation in international policymaking at the Institute for Inclusive Security, a program of Hunt Alternatives Fund.
Allison holds a Master of Public Policy degree from the Harvard Kennedy School of Government and a Bachelor of Arts degree in public policy and law from Trinity College in Hartford, Connecticut.
Sarah Weissberg joined Fidelity Charitable in 2018. She leads the Philanthropic Research team, which conducts research and creates custom resources for donors in Fidelity Charitable’s Private Donor Group. This research guides donors in recommending transformational grants that support high-impact nonprofits addressing critical needs.
Sarah has more than 20 years of experience working in the nonprofit sector and philanthropy. Prior to coming to Fidelity Charitable, she worked at Duke University’s Office of Development on the marketing team and as program director of Interdisciplinary Initiatives. Before Duke, she was director of member relations at the North Carolina Center for Nonprofits, a statewide association for nonprofits. She began her career at a small public radio station in Asheville, North Carolina, managing programs serving the station’s volunteers, donors, and listeners.

Vikki has a decade of experience working in the nonprofit sector. Prior to coming to Fidelity Charitable, she worked at NC Child as research program director. In this role, she provided policy advocates and decision-makers with reliable data and research to better understand child and family well-being.
Before NC Child, she was a public policy analyst at the Michigan League for Public Policy, a statewide policy research and advocacy organization. Vikki received a Bachelor of Arts in sociology and political science from UNC-Chapel Hill and a Master of Social Work degree also from UNC-Chapel Hill.
Karen Heald is Vice President, Philanthropic Strategies, for the Private Donor Group at Fidelity Charitable. Karen helps donors engage more deeply in their philanthropic journeys and works with them to create long-term plans to achieve their charitable objectives.

Before joining Fidelity Charitable in 2007, Karen was a senior development officer for Pine Street Inn in Boston, MA. Susan Laidlaw joined Fidelity Charitable in 2015. Prior to joining Fidelity Charitable, Susan was an Associate Director of Major Gifts at the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University, where she identified, cultivated, and solicited major gifts from Fuqua alumni in New England and California. She also served as the development liaison with Fuqua's Center for the Advancement of Social Entrepreneurship, the Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation, and the Fuqua/Coach K Center for Leadership and Ethics.
Before Fuqua, she was Regional Vice President at Fidelity Investments' Tax Exempt Services Company; Vice President, Mortgage Sales at Salomon Brothers, Inc.; and Vice President in the Commercial Banking Division at Bankers Trust Company.

Before that, May was on the founding team of a tech startup focused on online learning.
May holds a Master of Business Administration from the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University and a Bachelor of Arts in education studies from Brown University.
Elaine Martyn’s career has centered on building programs around family philanthropy, mentorship and leadership, impact investing, international grant-making, and values-based giving. She has worked with major donors to support the advancement of health and human rights through medical education, social justice, diversity policy, and advocacy in the United States, United Kingdom, and Asia through her work at the Global Fund for Women, Refugees International, King’s College London, the British Medical Association, Dana-Farber Cancer Institute/Harvard Medical School, and as a Special Advisor on Philanthropy to the U.S. State Department.
Ms. Martyn double majored in medical studies and English literature and communications at Gannon University. She received a master’s degree in Victorian literature from the University of Leeds.

Before that, she was a principal gifts academic liaison at Santa Clara University and an advancement operations manager at Chapman University, implemented aesthetic education programs for Title 1 schools, managed a professional dance company, and was a film researcher for the Amnesty International Film Festival.

In this role, she co-led the Foundation’s regional program as well as cultivated and stewarded capacity-building grants across multiple sectors in eastern U.S. regions. She previously worked in the arts and culture sector at New England Foundation for the Arts (NEFA) and American Repertory Theater.

She has a passion for strengthening the social sector through building thoughtful giving strategies, purposeful partnerships, and environments for learning and engagement. Prior to joining Fidelity Charitable, Tifany owned a philanthropic consulting firm called Red Philanthropy where she and her team focused on both domestic and international giving on behalf of high-net-worth clients. Previously, she was a vice president with CCS, the largest consulting firm in the world serving nonprofit clients. She has served in advising or grantmaking for the majority of her 20-year career.
Tifany has a master’s degree in philanthropic studies from the Indiana University Lilly Family School of Philanthropy and a bachelor’s degree in political science and fine art from Pepperdine University. Before Duke, she was director of member relations at the North Carolina Center for Nonprofits, a statewide association for nonprofits. She began her career at a small public radio station in Asheville, North Carolina, managing programs serving the station’s volunteers, donors, and listeners.

Vikki has a decade of experience working in the nonprofit sector. Prior to coming to Fidelity Charitable, she worked at NC Child as research program director. In this role, she provided policy advocates and decision-makers with reliable data and research to better understand child and family well-being.
Before NC Child, she was a public policy analyst at the Michigan League for Public Policy, a statewide policy research and advocacy organization. Vikki received a Bachelor of Arts in sociology and political science from UNC-Chapel Hill and a Master of Social Work degree also from UNC-Chapel Hill.

Before that, she was a principal gifts academic liaison at Santa Clara University and an advancement operations manager at Chapman University, implemented aesthetic education programs for Title 1 schools, managed a professional dance company, and was a film researcher for the Amnesty International Film Festival.

Sarah has more than 20 years of experience working in the nonprofit sector and philanthropy. Prior to coming to Fidelity Charitable, she worked at Duke University’s Office of Development on the marketing team and as program director of Interdisciplinary Initiatives. Before Duke, she was director of member relations at the North Carolina Center for Nonprofits, a statewide association for nonprofits. She began her career at a small public radio station in Asheville, North Carolina, managing programs serving the station’s volunteers, donors, and listeners.
Sarah received a bachelor of arts degree from Guilford College in Greensboro, N.C. and a master of arts degree from North Carolina State University, both in English. She holds a certificate in nonprofit management from Duke University.

In her role as vice president for philanthropic strategies, Tobi is responsible for providing Fidelity Charitable’s most generous donors with guidance, insight, and solutions to meet their philanthropic goals. With 20 years in the nonprofit sector, her array of experiences helps inform donors about how they can maximize their charitable giving and how the philanthropic sector can spur greater social change.
Before joining Fidelity Charitable, Tobi was a senior philanthropy advisor at Silicon Valley Community Foundation, where she was responsible for guiding the philanthropic vision and the implementation of grantmaking programs for donors, sector-related education events, donor engagement initiatives, and community partnerships. Before that, she was a principal gifts academic liaison at Santa Clara University and an advancement operations manager at Chapman University, implemented aesthetic education programs for Title 1 schools, managed a professional dance company, and was a film researcher for the Amnesty International Film Festival.
Tobi received a bachelor of fine arts degree from Chapman University and a master’s degree in nonprofit administration from Louisiana State University. She holds a certificate in nonprofit management from SUNY Purchase College.
Elizabeth Bouchard joined Fidelity Charitable in 2022 as a member of the Private Donor Group team. In this role, she supports Fidelity Charitable donors in activating their philanthropy for social change. She is based in Boston and primarily works with New England-based donors.
Before joining Fidelity Charitable, Elizabeth spent eight years at the Fidelity Foundation, most recently as a senior program officer. In this role, she co-led the Foundation’s regional program as well as cultivated and stewarded capacity-building grants across multiple sectors in eastern U.S. regions. She previously worked in the arts and culture sector at New England Foundation for the Arts (NEFA) and American Repertory Theater.
Elizabeth holds a Master of Business Administration degree with a concentration in Social Impact from Boston University and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Boston College. She also holds a certificate in Fundraising Management.
Tifany R. Boyles joined Fidelity Charitable in 2024 as a member of the Private Donor Group. As a Philanthropic Strategist, Tifany partners with donors to help identify and align their values with their giving and to design effective giving practices that elevate social impact and create sustainable change.
She has a passion for strengthening the social sector through building thoughtful giving strategies, purposeful partnerships, and environments for learning and engagement. She believes that giving can be transformational for the donor, the beneficiary, and the community when done with purpose and care.
Prior to joining Fidelity Charitable, Tifany owned a philanthropic consulting firm called Red Philanthropy where she and her team focused on both domestic and international giving on behalf of high-net-worth clients. Previously, she was a vice president with CCS, the largest consulting firm in the world serving nonprofit clients. She has served in advising or grantmaking for the majority of her 20-year career.
Tifany has a master’s degree in philanthropic studies from the Indiana University Lilly Family School of Philanthropy and a bachelor’s degree in political science and fine art from Pepperdine University. She has her certification in International Women’s Health and Human Rights from the Stanford University Center for Social Innovation as well as her Women in Leadership certification from the Yale School of Management.
Elaine Chu joined Fidelity Charitable in 2022 as Vice President of Philanthropic Strategies for the Private Donor Group. She is passionate about engaging and working with donors and their families to create equitable social and system change.
She has more than 25 years of experience working in the nonprofit sector with a focus on fundraising, organizational development, and collaborative partnerships. Prior to Fidelity Charitable, Elaine was Director of Philanthropic Services at Seattle Foundation, where she oversaw a team of philanthropic advisors and was a thought leader in building programs and services focused on family philanthropy, next-gen engagement, collaborative funding/learning, and youth philanthropy.
Elaine double majored and received Bachelor of Arts degrees in Business Administration and Political Science, as well as her Master’s in Public Administration, at the University of Washington. She is also a certified trainer through 21/64, an organization that specializes in multigenerational advising and engagement, especially within family philanthropy and other family enterprises. She is a Charter Advisor in Philanthropy (CAP) from The American College of Financial Services.
Vikki Crouse joined Fidelity Charitable in 2022. As part of the Private Donor Group team, Vikki conducts research and creates resources to inform decision-making by Fidelity Charitable donors seeking to provide transformational support for nonprofits.
Vikki has a decade of experience working in the nonprofit sector. Prior to coming to Fidelity Charitable, she worked at NC Child as research program director. In this role, she provided policy advocates and decision-makers with reliable data and research to better understand child and family well-being.
Before NC Child, she was a public policy analyst at the Michigan League for Public Policy, a statewide policy research and advocacy organization. Vikki received a Bachelor of Arts in sociology and political science from UNC-Chapel Hill and a Master of Social Work degree also from UNC-Chapel Hill.
Karen Heald is Vice President, Philanthropic Strategies, for the Private Donor Group at Fidelity Charitable. Karen helps donors engage more deeply in their philanthropic journeys and works with them to create long-term plans to achieve their charitable objectives.
Karen received a bachelor of science degree from Providence College and holds the Chartered Advisor of Philanthropy designation.
Before joining Fidelity Charitable in 2007, Karen was a senior development officer for Pine Street Inn in Boston, MA. In this role, she was responsible for supporting all areas of the charity’s fundraising efforts. Previous to that Karen was a development officer with the world-renowned Dana-Farber Cancer Institute in Boston, MA.
Susan Laidlaw joined Fidelity Charitable in 2015. Prior to joining Fidelity Charitable, Susan was an Associate Director of Major Gifts at the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University, where she identified, cultivated, and solicited major gifts from Fuqua alumni in New England and California. She also served as the development liaison with Fuqua's Center for the Advancement of Social Entrepreneurship, the Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation, and the Fuqua/Coach K Center for Leadership and Ethics.
Before Fuqua, she was Regional Vice President at Fidelity Investments' Tax Exempt Services Company; Vice President, Mortgage Sales at Salomon Brothers, Inc.; and Vice President in the Commercial Banking Division at Bankers Trust Company.
Susan received a bachelor of arts degree in political economy from Williams College.
May Mark joined Fidelity Charitable in 2021 as a member of the Private Donor Group team. In this role, she is responsible for supporting Fidelity Charitable’s most generous donors in meeting their philanthropic goals in pursuit of social change.
Before joining Fidelity Charitable, May was the director of school success at the XQ Institute, a national organization co-founded by Laurene Powell Jobs, dedicated to rethinking the American high school experience, where she managed a $120 million portfolio of investments in innovative high schools. Before that, May was on the founding team of a tech startup focused on online learning.
May holds a Master of Business Administration from the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University and a Bachelor of Arts in education studies from Brown University.
Elaine Martyn’s career has centered on building programs around family philanthropy, mentorship and leadership, impact investing, international grant-making, and values-based giving. She has worked with major donors to support the advancement of health and human rights through medical education, social justice, diversity policy, and advocacy in the United States, United Kingdom, and Asia through her work at the Global Fund for Women, Refugees International, King’s College London, the British Medical Association, Dana-Farber Cancer Institute/Harvard Medical School, and as a Special Advisor on Philanthropy to the U.S. State Department.
Ms. Martyn double majored in medical studies and English literature and communications at Gannon University. She received a master’s degree in Victorian literature from the University of Leeds.
Rebecca joined the Private Donor Group in 2020. As a Philanthropic Strategist, she uses her knowledge of international and domestic grantmaking to help donors make philanthropy as powerful a force as possible for social change. Rebecca is passionate about global grassroots civil society and advocating for its influence in decision-making processes.
Prior to joining Fidelity Charitable, Rebecca was a senior philanthropic advisor at The Philanthropic Initiative, as well as a technical advisor on resilience, governance, and partnership at Mercy Corps. Rebecca has also worked for Hunt Alternative Fund’s Institute for Inclusive Security.
Rebecca received a bachelor of arts degree in political science and Spanish from Grinnell College, and a master's degree from The George Washington University Elliott School of International Affairs.
Linda Shak joined Fidelity Charitable in 2022. She is passionate about working with donors to develop their philanthropic strategy and activate their vision for social change.
Prior to joining Fidelity Charitable, Linda spent her career leading strategic initiatives and successful grantmaking programs in the nonprofit and philanthropic sectors. She served as a program officer at private foundations—Sunlight Giving and the David and Lucile Packard Foundation—and a philanthropic consulting firm, Pacific Foundation Services.
Within each of these roles, she led program strategy to ensure healthy and vibrant communities, focusing on areas such as food security, community organizing, healthcare access, and early childhood education.
Outside of the office, Linda volunteers with the Make-A-Wish Foundation and First Descents, an organization that provides life-changing outdoor experiences for young people impacted by cancer and other serious health conditions.
Linda received her Bachelor of Arts and Master of Social Work degrees from Washington University in St. Louis. She is also a graduate of the Coro Fellows Program in Public Affairs.
Allison Shean joined Fidelity Charitable in 2021 as a member of the Private Donor Group team. In this role, she provides donors with the tools, resources and connections they need to create meaningful social change. Allison has been both a grant maker and a grant seeker, giving her insight into the opportunities and challenges in the philanthropic sector. She uses this understanding to help donors find innovative and actionable solutions to meet their philanthropic goals.
Before joining Fidelity Charitable, Allison was a director at Arabella Advisors, where she advised a diverse set of clients on how to amplify their charitable impact. She also spent a decade managing and supporting global projects across Africa, Asia and the Middle East. She served as a senior advisor for governance and partnerships at Mercy Corps and worked to increase women’s participation in international policymaking at the Institute for Inclusive Security, a program of Hunt Alternatives Fund.
Allison holds a Master of Public Policy degree from the Harvard Kennedy School of Government and a Bachelor of Arts degree in public policy and law from Trinity College in Hartford, Connecticut.
