On GivingTuesday, the Tuesday following Thanksgiving, people around the world celebrate generosity. GivingTuesday is a global generosity movement that inspires hundreds of millions of people to give, collaborate and celebrate the power of giving.
Each year, Fidelity Charitable donors have the unique opportunity to make more of a difference with their Giving Account on this internationally recognized day of giving. With a little planning, you can maximize your impact on this incredible day.
During the month of November, log in to your Giving Account to recommend a grant for GivingTuesday. After selecting a charity, reference the grant detail boxes to the right of the charity information and select “GivingTuesday” from the “Use” dropdown.
To ensure your favorite charity receives the approved grant via check or EFT by GivingTuesday, which is November 30, we encourage you to submit your grant recommendation by Monday, November 15 to allow time for Fidelity Charitable to review the grant recommendation and send the funds to the recipient charity. If you recommend your grant after November 15, we will still work hard to get the funds to the charity by GivingTuesday. The majority of Fidelity Charitable grants are processed and out the door within a few days.
GivingTuesday is the perfect opportunity to share your passion for charitable giving. Gift4Giving® lets your friends and family support charities using your Giving Account. You can choose any amount between $50 and $10,000 and once the person receives the Gift4Giving, they can “spend” it by recommending grants for GivingTuesday too.

GivingTuesday can be more than one day a year! Challenge yourself to give regularly and log in to your Giving Account to set up recurring grants of $50 or more. After selecting a charity, reference the grant detail boxes to the right of the charity information and select “Recurring” from the “Timing” dropdown.
