Engage the Next Generation in Giving

View a recording of the webinar held December 14, 2011 (WMV)

New donors, including those in the Baby Boom and "X" generations, are involving their children in the family's giving and volunteering at younger ages than previous generations.

Today, many parents include their children in philanthropic activities as a way to pass on their personal values, provide shared experiences, establish traditions, and enjoy a satisfying and fulfilling family venture together. Sometimes parents also have the goal of preparing their children to manage the family's philanthropy when they are adults.

Watch the recorded webinar and learn what others have done to create a culture of family giving, from service trips and volunteerism to discretionary giving and junior boards.
