Sending a Gift4Giving with your Fidelity Charitable Giving Account is easy. Choose an amount between $50 and $10,000, enter the recipient's email address, and send your gift. The recipient will receive an email with a personalized link and instructions for recommending grants to the charity or charities of their choice.

How it works

Select Gift4Giving from your Giving Account.

2. Add gift details

Enter the gift amount, recipient information, and a personal message.

3. Review and send

Confirm your information before sending.

4. Delivered

The recipient receives an email inviting them to recommend grants.

What to know before sending a Gift4Giving

  • There is no fee to send a Gift4Giving.
  • Gift4Giving amounts range from $50 to $10,000.
  • Recipients do not need a Giving Account to use a Gift4Giving.
  • Recipients can support one charity or multiple charities.
  • If a Gift4Giving is not used within 180 days, any remaining balance will be returned to your Giving Account.
  • You can track the status of a Gift4Giving in your Giving Account history.

What to know before you get started

  • Access your Gift4Giving using the link in the email you received. If you no longer have the email, contact the sender and ask them to resend it.
  • The charities you support will not be shared with the sender.
  • You do not need a Giving Account to use a Gift4Giving.
  • Gift4Giving is not redeemable for cash and cannot be transferred to another person.
  • Your Gift4Giving must be used within 180 days.
